I spent the week in Moab with Arctic Cat and had the opportunity to shoot with 3 groups of Editors from both the ATV and Snowmobile industries. I can’t wait to see all the articles that come out from this event in the next couple weeks.

I packed some equipment for this trip, making sure I had everything covered for the editors coming up. Included was my Nikon D3 body and D2x. 300mm 70-200, 24-85 and 17-30 lenses I also brought my fisheye but didn’t get to put her to use. Better luck next trip buddy…

The above photo was shot with my Nikkor 70-200 mounted on my Nikon d3. I used two qflashes triggered by my pocket wizards.

For lighting on this trip I brought two Elinchrom Ranger packs and heads and also three quantum qflashes. I mostly stuck with using the qflashes because they where quick and easy to setup and move to a new location easily. However I did create some epic shots with my Elinchrom’s one of which i put in my Calendar of Editor Brad Howe crawling down a gnarly rock face.
